Panic Attacks Panic Attacks can be considered to be anxiety which is shooting ahead, out of control. The feelings of helplessness and desperation that are experienced can be very frightening. The triggers for a panic attack can be almost anything, but, as with anxiety the common factor is that it is always an unpleasant and debilitating experience.
